An amazingly warm October day, and hardly any one at the Marsh Farm lake, meant some great fishing. I finally got to fish the fallen tree, and it only disappointed a little bit.

Average Day With Major Disappointment

It was a cool day, grey and overcast, but with little wind. I was in the square reed bay, as I am convinced there are massive carp here. But not much luck so far...

Way Cooler At Bromswell Lakes

I wasn't too hopeful for today. It was very cool compared to of late, and very bright, and very windy. I went to the usual swim in the corner bay, and float fished large fishy boilies near the reeds.

Hot Weather In September Kills The Fishing

Went fishing today at Marsh Farm for the first time in a few weeks due to family commitments, and it was about 30c and windy.

First Fishing Trip In Weeks

Finally got the chance to go fishing today. It was an average sort of day, weather wise, about 20c and blustery, but bright. The lake at Marsh Farm was churned up like a rough sea, making float fishing difficult, and it was packed with Bank Holiday crowds, so choice of swim was limited.

Frustrating But Enjoyable Sunday Afternoon

I went to Bromswell Lakes today for a change. It was a very windy but warm day, with hardly anybody there. I started fishing at about 2.30pm and almost immediately caught a hard fighting, but tiny, Mirror carp., which heralded the start of many missed bites, snapped lines, tangles, and snagged fish.
